According to the story, the Range Rover, which belonged to one Dennis Banigo was stolen at gunpoint sometime in February this year in Port Harcourt. The victim was said to have reported the matter to the police in Elelenwo police station, Port Harcourt.
Fast forward to October and the same car was found parked at a Police station in Okporo. The owner no doubt must have been jubilant at the discovery until the news was broken to him, namely: that the though his recovered vehicle was still parked at the Police station that it has been auctioned early October 2017.
What do you say, people? Let us hear it in the comment section. Apparently, the police job description has been amended to include “auction recovered stolen vehicles (without informing the owner)”
