19-year-old South Sudan beauty Anok Yai, whose photos were taken at Howard University homecoming was on the Instagram account theSUNK and have since been liked over 12,000 times, had been inundated with modelling offers.
The Plymouth State University student who sat for an interview with The Boston Globe, said she wasn’t expecting much when her photos went viral.
“My phone just started vibrating rapidly for a long, long time,” she told the Globe. “At first, I honestly thought someone made a meme of me or something.
“It was a dream that I always wanted, but I wasn’t sure if it was going to happen,” she said.
She further disclosed that 3 modelling agencies have approached her for a deal, but she’s taking her time to make the right decision.
