There are several ways people give off signs (please this is not the popular ‘green light’ signs that wome claim to give men) that we ignore and are taken unexpectedly. This is the first entry of five and we do hope it helps in improving our daily interactions and perception of others. Although for beginners it may seem difficult and awkward in early times of putting this tips into practice but with constant development we start taking note of these signs and ‘seeing’ them without really exerting ourselves:
Reading Emotionanl Signals.
1. Crying.
This is an age old way of expressing oneself, but then there are many reasons people cry from physical pain to expressing joy and also to try and play on our sympathy. Forced crying can be used to deceive people and some people shed tears while laughing, so when tears fall it is important to watch for other signs to determine why people are in tears.
2. Anger.
There are many reasons people get angry, and it is not always because of something you say at that moment or do. Some anger are from deep down, old and cold, but there are familiar ways people express anger without intentionally showing it and some are; v-shaped eyebrows, eyes widening, open mouth, down-turned mouth and crossing of arms tightly (closing themselves off).
3. Anxiety.
Anxiety is difficult to hide though some people are anxious by nature and have had years of practice using a particular set of body motions to disguise it, still if you make someone anxious they may; increase their blinking, stretch their mouth in a thin line, fiddle with their hands and not be able to keep them in one place or tap their feet.
4. Embarrassment.
We can embarrass people with our good intentions and they show this by averting their gaze not able to meet our gazes and many look to the floor while some try to hide embarrassment by looking up or offer tense smiles.
5. Pride.
When someone gains a little respect or position they may unknowingly exhibit pride by displaying small smiles, tilting their head backward and some put their hands on their hips. Pride is not always bad unless it makes people put others down.
