In an interview with Punch, the comedian, who disclosed that the most important ritual he performs before climbing the stage is to pray, says:
“Fans always want me to come up with new jokes for every show, but this is not possible because I am not a computer. I rely on freestyle and spontaneity to come up with fresh jokes while at a show. It is not possible to create new jokes for every show, it is tough.
“As a comedian, I am in this art because I love what I do. Though some might have come into the industry as a result of unemployment, there is a lot in the industry like me who genuinely chose this path.”
