Oluseun Jacob (stage name) Oluko says he has special interest in afro singer, Segun Akinlolu popularly known as Beautiful Nubia.

His interest in the dreadlocked artist is evident in his first album titled Bowale, a romantic shot. The album has five tracks including They are Good Morning, Africa, Enu Agba, Tiwa n Tiwa and Bowale, that address various areas of life.

According to Punchng, Oluko started as an instrumentalist before staking his voice on air. He says the transformation is very promising.

He explains, “Normally, there will be challenges, like the ones we encountered when we were producing the album and the video I earlier released. But the zeal to succeed and the joy of realising one’s dream are the driving force.

My skills in handling the guitar and keyboard make song composition very easy for me. Most times, inspiration for songs comes to me whenever I’m on the keyboard, handling guitar or listening to music.”

According to the singer who hails from Ikoyi Ijumu, Kogi State, the video for Enu Agba was inspired by the decadence in the Nigeria system and the incessant clamour by the youth for a responsible and a responsive government.
