Despite Lil Nas X tweeting that his latest Billboard hot shot single, “Montero (Call Me by Your Name),” which is currently #1 on the Top 100, will be pulled off streaming services as soon as Wednesday April 14, reports have suggested otherwise.

The stunt feels like another marketing move from the rapper who’s been making the rounds for the video of the said song following recent reports.

The rapper wrote on Twitter on Tuesday saying, “since call me by your name is no longer working on many streaming services I will be uploading the audio to Pornhub at 3 pm Est” and he even tweeted later on saying he was “not even joking,” sending his fans into a frenzy.

Lil Nas X also went on to plead with followers to go ahead and stream ‘call me by your name’ as hard as possible as it appears it may be off streaming services the following day.

He tweeted “not even joking. everybody stream call me by your name hard today because it may no longer be available tomorrow and there’s nothing I can really do about it. thanks for all the support tho! tomorrow and there’s nothing I can really do about it.”

The song became Lil Nas X another leading joint on the Billboard Top 100 songs after the 22-year-old rapper made his debut with “Old Town Road,” which currently maintains its spot as the longest-running No. 1 song in the chart’s history.

“Montero” has also occupied the top spot at the Billboard Global 200 this week, making it its first week on the chart.

Also, Lil Nas X’s latest hit ‘Montero (Call Me by Your Name)’ becomes the first song to log more than 100 million streams globally in two months after amassing over 109.3 million streams. It cruised past ‘Driver’s license’ by Olivia Rodrigo.

It’s also ‘Montero’s second week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart.
