A former presidential aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Bemigho Reno Omokri, has some choice advice for those who neglect their family.
The lawyer turned pastor at Mind of Christ Christian Center gave three pieces of advice to followers on Facebook
Advice 1.
“Only a fool thinks that he is pleasing God by sowing into the life of his pastor while his own parents are owing and sorrowing. No pastor, no matter how anointed, can bless you like your own parents, no matter how unanointed. That is the secret to success.”
Advice 2
“Another definition of a fool is a man who looks after his wife’s family while his own parents and siblings languish in poverty.”
Advice 3.
Finally, love your wife. Spoil her. Honor her. But don’t dishonour your mum because of her. If you die, she can remarry. Your mum can’t #RenosNuggets
