Recall that a few weeks ago, the actress took to Instagram to share a picture of herself and her seven-year-old son posing naked for a picture. She had shared it on the occasion of his birthday.
She said she chose to do that because he had come from her and she wanted to remember that.
However, her gesture was not well received by members of the public and she was attacked for her actions. Following this, she apologized.
Her troubles were not over though as Child Rights International wrote a letter to the Inspector-General of police in Ghana to investigate her situation with her son.
Ghanaian media is now reporting that Akuapem Poloo has been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) and is being sent to the headquarters of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit around the Ministries in Accra.
