At the awards show yesterday, Taylor Swift bagged six awards, taking her total to 26 awards, surpassing Michael Jackson’s total which is 24.
During the show, Taylor Swift was awarded Artist of the Decade and performed a medley of her greatest hits, including her early hits which she was cleared to perform after she brought it to the public.
An emotional Swift told the crowd gathered at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater that the previous 12 months had given her “some of the most amazing times” as well as “the hardest things I’ve gone through in my life”.
