Tip 'T.I' Harris to teach 'Business of Trap Music' at Clark Atlanta University

American rapper, Tip Harris, known by his stage name, T.I is taking his music beyond the regular bounds and imparting knowledge from all his years of experience. 

If you are into music and you think a course called ‘The business of trap music’ will help you get to where you need to be in your craft, then T.I has something for you.

According to Billboard, T.I, who is widely considered the pioneer of trap music, will be teaching a course at the Clark Atlanta University in the fall.

He won’t be doing this alone, oh no. He will be teaching alongside prominent hip hop scholar, Dr. Melva K. Williams.

The announcement was made on the official social media account of Clark Atlanta University. They wrote:

The course will cover the history of rap music, the economics behind it, and will also examine how it grew to become a 21st-century cultural movement.

“I’m excited to share my experiences and whatever resources or information I have that can be an asset for the future,” T.I said.

“Drugs have existed for as long as humans have been on earth and music has existed for quite some time as well. The commonality that threads the two together is what makes trap music a dominant force in culture today.”
