Tuface Idibia and Blackface reportedly settle their beef out of court

Tuface Idibia (whose real name is Innocent Ujah Idibia ) and Blackface (real name, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo) have finally chosen to settle their case out of court.

Recall that the two had spent the past few years throwing shots at each other through music, interviews and other means.

Blackface had several times in the past accused the African Queen singer of stealing his songs and passing them off as his own, preventing him from earning royalties from them. Tuface (also known by the stage name 2Baba) was a part of the defunct Plantashion Boiz along with Blackface and Faze.

Blackface had not taken any legal action against Tuface, however, until Tuface said in an interview that Blackface should sue him or shut up.

Few days after he made that statement, Blackface filed a case in court, something he revealed on his Instagram page.

The two appeared in court yesterday, 27 November and opted to settle the case out of court.

According to LIB, Tuface signed an undisclosed agreement.

Blackface has reportedly agreed to stop calling Tuface out and he has, in turn, promised to find a way for Blackface to earn royalties.

This is not the first case court case involving the former Plantashion Boiz members. Tuface had at one time instituted a N50m defamation suit against Blackface.

Following yesterday’s court outing, Blackface shared pictures from the outing on his Instagram page where he thanked his lawyers, writing:
