Actress Yvonne Jegede has shared her experience from working on a movie set in Uganda.

This is coming amid the controversy ignited by the arrest of Nigerian singers Omah Lay and Tems in Uganda.

Stanley Omah Didia professionally known as Omah Lay, his manager Muyiwa Awoniyi and Temilade Openyi aka Tems, have been released from detention in Uganda.

Omah Lay and Tems were arrested together on Sunday, 13 December, along side their managers for performing at a concert at Ddungu resort in Munyonyo while the country is on lockdown.

The actress who recalled being labelled proud after she said she doesn’t know any Ugandan artiste, stated that their self esteem issues, have nothing to do with Nigerians.

“you Nigerians are very proud”, even when I said I didn’t know any Ugandan artist I was labeled proud. I am proud of where I come from, your self esteem issues has nothing to with Nigerians”
