'If you did it in the past it will haunt your future' - Lagbaja speaks on rape

Amidst the rape allegations that have been levelled against D’banj and his reaction to it, Lagbaja has now lent his voice. 

The music star expressed his shock that people still get themselves involved in such evil things like rape. The veteran singer of such hit songs like ‘Never Far Away’ took to Instagram to share his views on the subject.

He took to his Instagram page to air his views on the issue, dishing out advice in the process. He wrote:

“Hmmmm, I can’t believe in this 2020 people still do evil things like this. It is wrong, it is WRONG. If you did it in the past it would hunt your future, smh!”

This is coming after a series of rape allegations have been levelled at a number of celebrities including Uti Nwachukwu, D’Banj, and others.

While Uti’s rape accuser disappeared from social media after he dragged her to court, D’banj allegedly went through a completely different route with his case, reportedly breaking several laws and abusing his power in the process.
