Intonation refers to the rise and fall of the pitch and tone of a speaker to give stress to the relevant words in order to make the speaker’s speech more effective.

According to the website, INC. Life, avoid using a monotonous voice as much as possible. The tone of your voice can tell recruiters that you lack confidence or even denote lying.

Without intonation, your voice is flat and monotone, there is little interest generated, and the listener (interviewer), will find your voice bland.
