Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim shares her rape experience in BBC Pidgin’s interview.
The actress and radio girl, Toke Makinwa, teamed up to address rape in society and how it affects the victim.
Juliet shared a personal experience about how an aunt set her up with a family friend in her home when she was only 15 years old and how she managed to escape. Juliet revealed that she didn’t tell her parents about the incident.
Also, according to the 34-year-old, she had so many rape experiences as a girl of about 8 or 9 years old.
Toke Makinwa, on the other hand, didn’t share any experiences but advised ladies to learn to use their voices.
