American model and actress Naomi Campbell wrote an open letter to Grammy, schooling them on Afrobeats, following Burna Boy’s loss and Nigerians have reacted to the letter on Twitter.

The model took to her Instagram account to congratulate Angelique Kidjo for winning the Grammy Awards in the category of Best World Music album. Shen then went ahead to school the Academy of Music on Afrobeats genre.

The introduction of the model’s letter got Nigerians talking. The introduction of the letter stated:  First, I want to say deepest congratulations to @angeliquekidjo for her award on Sunday, and thank you to you for spreading light and opening minds through your music… And to our AFRICAN GIANT, @burnaboygram… it is only due to lack of education that you have not been honoured with the accolades you so truly deserve. You are always a winner in our hearts. ALWAYS.”

The part that got Nigerians talking was the “education” part. Some Nigerians thought that the model insinuated that their African Giant lacked education while others understood the point the model was trying to make.
