Thief forced to parade with stolen goods in Enugu State says he stole to pay his for his mother's burial

A man identified as Mr Osondu popularly known as Onye Mechanic was caught dismantling a stolen motorcycle in Ibagwa-Ani area of Nsukka, Enugu state.

The man was nabbed by members of Omaka vigilante team, according to multiple online reports.

When interrogated, Osondu claimed to have committed the act as he needed the proceeds from the sale to pay for his mother’s for his mother’s burial.

The team forced him to go around the town carrying the remaining part of the dismantled motorcycle.
