Canada has now become the second country in the world to legalise the recreational use of Marijuana after Uruguay.

Back in 2015, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised to legalise the drugs and it appears he has made good on his promise. According to Sky News, shops selling the drug will soon start popping up in Canada.

“We’re not legalising cannabis because we think it’s good for our health. We’re doing it because we know it’s not good for our children,” he said, explaining that the idea is to make sure the sale of marijuana is excluded from organized crime.

“We know we need to do a better job to protect our children and to eliminate or massively reduce the profits that go to organised crime,” he continued.

A detail that may prove to be mind blowing is the fact that the drug can even be ordered online and it will be delivered to homes.
