According to The Next Web, Godfrey Mutabazi, Executive Director of the UCC said that they have identified 17 popular local and 10 international adult video websites which they have asked ISP’s and telecommunications companies to block.
In 2006, the Ugandan government announced that they have purchased a adult video detecting device, which can detect +18 pictures, videos or graphics taken or saved on one’s phone, computer or camera in any form.
