Nigerian alleged billionaire based in Dubai, Hushpuppi may be extradited to Nigeria by the International Police (INTERPOL) Nigeria.

The INTERPOL is already making plans to see that this happen. The agency says some of the alleged offences levelled against Hushpuppi were committed in Nigeria

Hushpuppi, whose real name is Raymond Igbalodely, was arrested earlier this week by the FBI and Interpol over an alleged $35 million fraud relating to Covid-19 medical supplies to native Americans.  He was picked up along with his friend Woodberry in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Nations newspaper reports that the INTERPOL is also on the trail of other accomplices in the alleged fraud, who are resident in Nigeria, to bring them to justice.

The disclosure was made by the commissioner of police INTERPOL, Garba Umar.

He says: “It is true that Hushpuppi was arrested by the INTERPOL. We are currently working on bringing him to Nigeria to face charges of fraud.
